Grapho collects nothing. What you type stays on your device.
What Grapho collects
Nothing. Grapho has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no crash reporting and no accounts. We, Motomatic LLC, receive no data about you or your typing.
What you type
The keyboard adds accents, completes words and corrects typos on your device, using a word list and word statistics that ship inside the app. Your text is never sent anywhere.
No Full Access, no network
The Grapho keyboard does not ask for Full Access. Without it, iOS does not let a keyboard reach the internet, so the keyboard cannot send anything even by mistake. The Grapho app itself makes no network requests of its own. Apple handles app downloads, updates and purchases.
What is stored on your device
- Your keyboard settings.
- The words you save in the Personal Lexicon.
- Words the keyboard learned on its own: when you undo the same automatic correction twice, it remembers the word you typed so it stops correcting it.
All three stay on the device. You can delete saved words in the app, and reset learned words from the Personal Lexicon screen. Deleting the app removes everything.
Settings in iCloud
If iCloud is on for your Apple Account, your keyboard settings (for example, whether typeahead is on) sync between your devices through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, in your own iCloud account. Your words and your typing are not synced. We cannot read your iCloud data.
Grapho Pro
Apple processes the Grapho Pro purchase and restores it on your other devices. Grapho learns only whether Pro is unlocked, never your payment details.
Children
Grapho collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
